The ways in which we find each other are impossible to predict. Lover, friend, colleague, acquaintance, stranger– each person inevitably brings something unexpected. Something we did not realize we needed, or did not realize we could have, or did not realize we wanted.
A smile tossed suddenly. A hand on the shoulder. An embrace. A kiss.
Love comes. The universe reminds us that it is not so vast, so strange, so lonesome.
