One day,
I’ll surely wonder how
I might have better
preserved this body
I’ll surely lament my slow walk
and aching joints and
fading eyesight…
When that day comes,
I’ll surely be glad
to have used this body,
to have spent its youth,
to have memories of what it did
and not wonder what it might have done.
Well-phrased reminder: live today while you can. Thank you.
Thank you for reading. I also think of it as a note-to-self for the future: don’t regret too much.
