pottery.

I began making pottery in 2014 as an exploration of studio art and craft, something I’d never been done before. The material that was most accessible to me growing up was words; ink, paper, thoughts. Things that can be tucked away, things that don’t take up much literal space.

I make objects to be used in daily life, for plants to grow in, for beauty.

They require a place to be.

They necessitate me staying in a certain place, for a certain time. They are a cooperative effort between my hands and earth and fire.

I am in love with it.

As it is very important to me that folks #touchmypottery, I mostly sell my work at the occasional holiday market or pop-up, and by appointment.
